Bio

Rob Morgan is a pioneering spatial storyteller, experience designer and creative director working across XR, immersive theatre and location-based entertainment. He has helped build immersive story worlds and XR installations for some of the world's largest licenses, attractions and cultural institutions including the National Gallery, Royal Academy, Sky Arts, Netflix and Hasbro. A former Lead Game Writer at PlayStation, he’s written and designed multi-award-winning XR experiences including the 2019 VR Awards Game of The Year ‘A Fisherman’s Tale’ and the 2025 XR Awards Best XR Experience ‘Crafting Crimes’. Rob is a Visiting Fellow at King’s College London, and his book ‘Storytelling for Spatial Computing and Mixed Reality’ (Routledge 2025) is the world’s first dedicated manual on XR narrative design. Rob is currently Lead Narrative & Experience Designer for a major new Amazement Park by the multi-award-winning Wake the Tiger, which will be Europe's largest immersive art experience, opening 2026. He frequently lectures on XR experience design and the ethics of augmenting reality, most recently at SXSW London and UnitedXR.
