I found this course particularly helpful, as it provided a strong primer for the Professional Certificate in Product Management. I already hold an MBA, and I felt the content offered a valuable refresher on key concepts from the Marketing and Strategic Management modules. However, I believe an important aspect was missing from the course content: the Resource-Based View (RBV), particularly the VRIO framework (valuable, rare, inimitable, and organised). Organisations should assess their ability to develop and sustain a product based on their internal resources, including talent, tangible and intangible assets, and core competencies. Applying the VRIO framework is essential to achieving a sustainable competitive advantage!

The content was valuable and well-presented, but I deduct one star for the peer-reviewed final assignment. Any assignments that involve peer review (or AI review, as was offered in this course) should be an optional opportunity to add to a portfolio. The final project did not add value to the course for me.
