Dr. DeQuindre Spencer teaches in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where he focuses on practical leadership and management skills that prepare learners to address real-world organizational challenges. He brings over 7 years of higher education teaching experience and more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning small businesses to Fortune 100 organizations. In addition to his academic role, Dr. Spencer works as an HR consultant and actively partners with industry professionals to help design curriculum that translates theory into practical application. He also designs and writes exam questions for the nationally recognized Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certifications. His teaching areas include leadership, organizational design, human behavior, management, and agribusiness. Dr. Spencer holds a Doctor of Business Administration (D.B.A.) in Leadership with a focus on Organizational Development from Colorado Technical University and is SPHR certified.
