Bio

Eduardo Gill Pedro is an Associate Professor in EU Law and Senior Lecturer in Law and AI at the Faculty of Law, Lund University. In his research he looks into the role of companies in the governance of Artificial Intelligence. He is particularly interested in questions surrounding the involvement of artificial persons (commercial corporations) on the development of other potential artificial persons (entities deploying AI), as well as on how the interaction between corporations and Ais affect the way both types of entities operate in the legal order and, potentially, affect the ability for human beings to control them. He is Director of Studies for Doctoral Education at the Faculty He also lectures extensively at undergraduate level, and he is the director for the courses Internal Market Law, Methodology and Argumentation and co-director of Konstitutionell rätt (Constitutional law in the Faculty's Swedish Law Programme). In addition, he has been a Guest Lecturer at Gothenburg, Stockholm and Uppsala Universities, and a member of the ‘flying faculty’ of the China-EU Law School in Beijing.
